Great Auk

Hello Chuck,

I finished this sea kayak. Used a plan from Nick Schade called “Great Auk”. 17' long. Took me about 350 hours. The hatch covers I got from you are mounted in the bulkheads, one behind the seat and one forward. I could not make myself cut holes in the decks for hatches.

Pictures are not the best. The light wood is pecan–the dark is mesquite. The very dark strips are purple heart.
